Weird-ass dream (2023-10-01)

Had some wild dreams about live-action superhero movies.

First, Spider-Man versus Wonder Woman! This fight was all in mid-air and was awesome.

Next, Flash versus Reverse Flash. They actually never directly raced in the movie in my dream, but they did in the director's cut version of the movie in my dream. Except, they were on motorcycles...

Weird-ass dream (2020-10-06)

Another math-related nightmare. Although the teacher for some reason was the Japanese-language teacher I really liked...

Weird-ass dream (2020-06-29)

Another "Holy Angels" dream, where I'm still a kid but there's future tech, and me and Chris O wants me to drink with him and I give him the ol' speech about "this better be a damn special occasion if I'm gonna drink for the first time"... and then I get lost looking for Gretchen?

These are people who I wasn't particularly close with but still respected and admired. Was grade school the best time of my life after all?

Weird-ass dream (2017-11-18)

Had a dream where Subway had a deal for five subs for five dollars. That is a good deal!

Weird-ass dream (2017-05-21)

In Japan with family, then I got lost. But then I met up with a friend from high school who seems to go there every year.

There was an arcade (or game centers, as they're known), but the games weren't any good.

And big-ol' anime-sized boobs on real people, so... yeah.

Weird-ass dream (2016-09-25)

I was in Japan on some amusement park ride, which turned into a futuristic bus ride, which turned into a regular bus ride in America. Got in a pretty heated argument too, but I was better in Street Fighter II so whatever.

Weird-ass dream (2016-07-11)

I was struggling and running out of time in a physics test (a class that I had no business being in in high school), but Ronnie and Elizabeth (from Holy Angels!) were there too, so that was... comforting? Oh, and Ava Addams was there too.

Weird-ass dream (2015-07-04)

Anti-drug PSA. A young boy and his younger brother find a skeleton in their house and excitedly yell, "Treasure!" So they and their mom end up searching the house. But instead they find drugs in the attic. And when they do, we see eyes peeping in from the windows.

Happy 4th...

Weird-ass dream (2015-06-22)

PE with the old Holy Angels crew! We were all kids again, except for Abby who I was going to congratulate on her recent wedding (and who I, IRL, was not "friends with" on Facebook and only learned about that fact secondhand from someone who was my friend).. huh.

After a warning about the weather from Coach Rios, we were split up into teams and we did various things. Chris O. was at bat and mostly kept hitting homers. Then it was me playing some shmup, except after skipping through the tutorial screens my time was up and I switched to Justin B.

Next thing I remember, I was all set to go home but naturally certain tech issues -- things that only I knew how to solve -- kept me from doing so. Some guy (not from HA) wanted his picture which was impossible but I remembered there was a video of him and I could take a screenshot from that video.

I guess I was so frustrated I woke up several hours earlier than I usually do...

Weird-ass dream (2015-05-29)

People started to inadvertently make heads explode with direct eye contact, and the one who started it would also go blind. Turns out it was aliens messing with us all along...

Weird-ass dream (2014-12-05)

So I was playing a version of Street Fighter where there was also a game of Tetris going on in the background, and the inputs were shared. Move your character left and your Tetromino moves left as well.

Also, a Hatsune Miku RPG not unlike the first Persona game, isometric perspective and all...

(Up next: my thoughts on arcade parts! Probably.)

Weird-ass dreams and the end of Pawn Stars on my DVR

Let's see. In one dream my cousin bought a Vita and he had something like a PhotoFast adapter for his Vita, not unlike how it's used in a PSP with two micro SD cards.

In another dream, I actually was at a grade school reunion, though I got along surprisingly best with somebody who shall rename nameless; he wasn't exactly anywhere near my close circle of friends but he was certainly friendly, we got along, and I even ran into him when I was at PCC. Nothing but respect for the guy and I hope he's doing well.

Lastly, I decided to delete Pawn Stars off the TiVo and delete the episodes that were on the hard drive. Sure, I missed some episodes when transitioning from DirecTV to the Charter box to TiVo, but I made sure to take note of which episodes I missed and tried to look out for them. But I haven't seen the episodes since March or so, and that's because I just really, really don't like Chumlee. Say what you will about the authenticity, but I always liked Old Man and Rick; their expertise and hardballing kept me watching. But when they revamped the intro to include Chumlee, that was the turning point. Just who does enjoy watching such a repulsive character? I remember when they swapped him with Roli (from Counting Cars) for a day, and stuff happened, and at the very end Chumlee was still some lazy ass. I think that was it for me right there. I was proud to say I saw and recorded every single Pawn Stars episode up to that point too. Now the episodes that I didn't yet burn away to my private DVD collection are gone as well.

Weird-ass dream (2014-01-22)

I dreamed I was hanging out with Kei Hosogai. That in and of itself wasn't too surprising since I saw him make an appearance on NHK World in a segment about bus travel.

Now, the really weird thing is that I was saying I remembered that I watched the NHK segment about bus travel in the dream.... so yeah.

Weird-ass dream (2013.10.15)

I dreamt I was touring with Kenichi Ebina in the AGT tour along with Jimmy Rose, Cami Bradley, and the others. Like I was one of the finalists. I think my act was a magic act or something...

Weird-ass dream (2013.01.06)

OK, maybe not completely weird. I dreamt the guys from Cajun Pawn Stars drove to Las Vegas and met up with the guys from Pawn Stars so History could have another special. Not unlike that Sturgis thing, really...

Cool sci-fi dream

Dreamed of a cool idea that was a cross sort of between Flashforward and Sliders. This one involved freezing time and a post-apocalyptic world...

Weird-ass dream (2012.03.24)

Among other things (now-forgotten, 'natch), I was in some sort of classroom and I just couldn't figure out this math word problem. Something stupidly basic like "What percent of this number is that number" or some such. I got so frustrated I work up early!

Weird-ass dream (2011.10.11)

I dreamed I was back in school as an adult and it was a class on Sunday. The only other two people in my class were an adult version of Amy from grade school and some girl who looked like Mikayla from Survivor. Anyway, there was some big project due and I forgot it was even assigned, and I was panicking. That actually woke me up early...

On that note, that actually did happen in grade school. There was some big project on presidents and I don't think I even started it. I didn't get penalized or anything. I don't know how I got away with that one...

Weird-ass dream (2011.09.22)

I dreamed I was able to log back into my original account that was banned, and although I wasn't able to post, I could still view everything I uploaded.

This is probably the least puzzling dream I had because someone told me his YouTube account got banned last night, and revoking comment and upload privileges for a number of years instead of outright bans would have been my preferred solution to "copyright concerns."
